雨上がりの夜空に

忌野清志郎というロックの王様がおりました。
私はRCにどっぷりという訳ではなかったけれど、ひとつ大好きな曲がありました。
高校の頃、米米クラブ見たさに行ったジョイントライブで初めて聴いたその曲が『雨上がりの夜空に』でありました。
当時にして、すでに発売から8年もたっていたというのに、その月日で色褪せていなかったのが清志郎の王様技。
そしてそれは今でも色褪せることなく、新鮮なのでありました。
車なのか？女なのか？あれこれ妄想させる確信犯的な曲なのに、なぜか私はこの歌を聴くとジーンとなるのでした。
久々に聴きたくて、着うたをダウンロードしたら、雨上がりの夜空にがランキング2位で、私と同じ人がこんなにおるんやなぁと不謹慎ながらも嬉しくなってしまったのでした。

こうしてロックの王様は空に登りロックの神様になったのでした。
